DI STEFAN KREJCA BECOMES NEW CEO

Ascendum Central Europe GmbH, the leading construction equipment dealer and general distributor of Volvo Construction Equipment in Central Europe, announces a change at the top of the company. DI Stefan Krejca took over the position of CEO in November 2024 and will be responsible for the markets of Austria, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Croatia, Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of Moldova.
Stefan Krejca returns to the construction machinery sector after almost ten years in the industrial truck industry. In addition to his experience in business development, Stefan Krejca will also bring his expertise in digitalization and automation to the company. He succeeds Dr. Thomas Schmitz, who is taking his well-deserved retirement after an impressive 21 years in the Ascendum management.
